PLACard/Non-Resident Library Cards
PLACards
  • PLACard (Public Library Access Card):
    • Available to anyone with a valid public library card from another public library in the state of Indiana
    • Cost $30.00
    • Valid for one (1) year from date of purchase

  • The PLACard gives you access to any public library in the state of Indiana for borrowing printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Service charges apply when you borrow CDs, videos, DVDs, and CD-ROMs

  • PLACards do not give you access:
    • To Inter Library Loan Services
    • To the leased computer databases
    • To museum passes
    • To laptop computers
Non-Resident Library Cards
  • Non-Resident cards are for those living outside of the state of Indiana and for those living in Indiana who do not qualify for a PLACard.

  • Family Non-resident Fee Cards are $224.00; the Library issues cards to all family members.
    Single Non-resident fee cards are $73.00 and must be used by the cardholder only.
